Chef at Cataria (Sancti Petri, Cádiz)

He learned the trade from the best Basque experts, and finally ended up as right-hand man to one of them, Aitor Arregi.

Argentinian Pablo Vicari studied at the highly acclaimed Luís Irizar school of cookery, and after stints at well-known restaurants in the Basque Country such as Arzak, Akelarre, Zuberoa and Eurepel, in 2006 he joined the Elkano restaurant in Getaria as gastronomy adviser, while lecturing on a professional course at the Irizar school.

Since 2012 he has worked as head chef at the restaurant, and also co-directs new projects alongside Aitor Arregi. The projects include Elkano Txiki or Cataria, Elkano's embassy in Sancti Petri (Cádiz), specifically at Hotel Iberostar Selection Andalucía Playa.
