Global Environmental Change and Blue Foods
The balance between sustainability and human foodstuffs.
Food production systems and human diet choices have some critical implications for climate change and environmental sustainability. The ocean and blue foodstuff resources are increasingly acknowledged as a source to meet the world's nutritional demands, and to address the increasingly serious problems of human hunger.
In this talk, Michael Bank will avail himself of a complex system analysis to discuss new scientific findings, with new ideas on the relationship between global environmental changes and the planet's limitations and health in the context of sustainable development of blue foodstuffs.
