The culture of the sea and of sustainability
Contextualisation of the importance of the primary fishing industry in relation to sustainability.
Fishery guilds and fishing produce organisations ("OPP") are making a concerted effort in terms of sustainability and protection of sea culture.
This presentation will touch on the vital importance of traceability in relation to sustainability, and how it has developed over the years, seeking to guarantee proper information for consumers, and also to meet sustainable objectives through genuine information, and also through quality certifications stating the kind of risks the use of these can generate.
It will also take a look at how community regulation is highlighting the importance of sustainability, through EU policies such as the Green Deal or the Farm-to-Table strategy.
